Quality Time at Christmas

We all know how busy it gets at Christmas time. Here is a reminder of how important time with our children is. I have included an interesting article as well as some crafts you can do together with your child.

This image is beautiful on so many levels. Parent-child quality time can be difficult over the holidays. Research is showing us the importance of meaningful interactions with safe and trusted adults. Please read the article below. It was recently brought to my attention and thought I would include it in this post to futher demonstrate the importance of slowing down and enjoying the holiday season..

Triskele Balls -

Looking for a craft to do with your child 9 and up? This was one of the most interesting crafts that I came across. I have posed below where you can find further information and a blank pattern. You will need: a printer (or graph paper and a math set if you are adventurous!), Paper, a tool to score the paper, and pencil crayons or markers.

Frogs and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails

- another good resource for activities for younger children. The Peppermint Dream Dough above is just one of their really interesting craft ideas.
