Hi! My name is Patti Darling and I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) in Saint John, NB. I believe that mental health is a family affair and that if one person is struggling, it affects the whole family. I strive to help families achieve their best quality of life and offer services for the entire family (children, youth and adults) individually and as a unit.
Through specialized education and training, experience working for the public children’s mental health team (ISD), as well as being a parent of three young adults, I have a unique perspective and a realistic view of how difficult parenting can be. For this reason, I like to focus on family and am working on a Podcast for parents (Building Your Village with Patti Darling).
I offer an evidence based approach to counselling and have a strong focus in parenting, managing complex behavioural concerns, attachment challenges and other complex needs.
